This privacy policy explains what information JobCost collects when you use this website or the JobCost software, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your job cost data for advertising.
What we collect from the website
- Calculators. The free calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to our servers.
- Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. This includes page views, device type, and approximate region, not your identity.
- Contact forms. When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message so we can reply.
What we collect from the app
- Account data. Name, email, and billing information needed to run your subscription.
- Business data. The jobs, cost codes, time entries, receipts, and reports you enter into JobCost. This is your data, and it is used only to provide the service to you.
- Usage data. Basic logs to keep the service reliable and secure, such as when you log in and which features you use.
How we share data
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product, such as hosting, payments, and the accounting syncs you connect. We do not sell data to anyone. We do not share your job cost data with third parties for marketing. If the law requires us to disclose data, we will do so only where required and will tell you where we legally can.
Your choices
- You can export your data from JobCost at any time, and we delete your data within 30 days of account cancellation unless the law requires keeping it.
- You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it by contacting us.
- You can block or clear analytics cookies through your browser.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS, data at rest is encrypted, and access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it to operate the service.

We will update this policy as the product or the law changes, and we will post the updated policy on this page with a new date.
